Sharon Williams
A passionate and motivational speaker who inspires and informs in equal measure, Taurus Founder and Managing Director, Sharon Williams, is in demand at industry functions in Australia and overseas.
Sharon was hand picked as the keynote speaker at the Special Events Conference in Dallas in 2006, in Los Angeles 2007 and earlier this year spoke at the 2008 Atlanta conference. She speaks regularly at CPA Australia, American Chamber of Commerce, Rotary, National Speakers Association, Australian Business Women's (ABN) Network, IntoFocus Networking Group and The Last Thursday Club. Management World, Australian Brokers Forum, various business institutes and the International Special Events Society (ISES). Sharon co-founded the Solo Home Business Network in 1995 and the Artarmon/ St Leonards Chamber of Commerce in December 2005, of which she is Vice President.
Originally from the UK, Sharon has worked in Marketing and PR for over 20 years in London, Europe, Hong Kong, throughout Asia and now in Sydney. Her experience before founding Taurus, included Management Training with Marks and Spencer UK, in-house Marketing Management in the IT, Shipping and Travel industries. Sharon set up Taurus in 1995 working with first client Peter Kazacos of the KAZ Group and helped build the KAZ brand into the largest Information Communications Technology (ICT) company in Australasia, bought by Telstra in 2004.
Sharon's vision for Taurus is to provide practical, smart marketing expertise to CEO's in the Business to Business (B2B) arena. She has designed a business that has a ‘no bull’ approach and exceptionally high standards, focusing on open, honest communication - attributes that make her a powerful presenter on a diverse range of topics.
